Tara Stanley has been professionally and passionately serving families for over 30 years. A second generation Funeral Director, she grew up in upstate New York where her father owned and operated 2 funeral homes.
In 1986 her family relocated to South Florida where Tara graduated from Coral Springs High School and went on to obtain her Mortuary Science degree from Lynn University in 1992, beginning her career in the funeral industry in the South Florida Market.
Tara and her father owned and operated 2 funeral homes in Ft. Lauderdale for several years until selling them in 2009. Tara then joined Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in 2010 and has been a Stonemor employee since 2013.
Tara served her community as a former Member of Lake Worth Rotary Club 2001-2002, former Board Member, Secretary and Treasurer of Lake Worth Rotary Club from 2002-2003, former member of Coral Springs Rotary Club 2009, past member and President of Orchid Island Rotary Club 2010 - 2019, past Board Member and Communication Coordinator of Indian River Soccer Academy. Tara is also a member of St. Helen Catholic Church.
In her spare time, Tara enjoys cooking, traveling, the outdoors, exercising, and spending family time with her sons, Shane and Liam.
